More than one person died in a vehicle wreck involving pedestrians Tuesday morning in Fountain Hills, according to a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez said in a tweet that “fatalities are confirmed” and traffic investigators were headed to the crash site at Palisades and Saguaro boulevards.

Additional details were not immediately available.
