A person died after a traffic collision Friday near Price and Queen Creek roads in Chandler, according to police officials.
The person was taken to a hospital and died. Police did not say how the person was involved in the collision.
At this time, police are in the early stages of investigating and further details about the crash and person who died are not immediately available, according to Det. Zachary Waters, Chandler police spokesperson.
Police enforced traffic restrictions at the location for an extended amount of time, according to Waters.
