The NFL Network is counting down the Top 100 players in the NFL for 2017, as voted on by the players.

It has unveiled Nos. 41-100 and now, two Arizona Cardinals players are ranked.

Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald comes in at No. 45, joining linebacker Chandler Jones, who is ranked No. 85 on the list.

Fitzgerald was ranked No. 27 last season.

Jones, who played his first season in Arizona last season after being traded from the Patriots, was ranked No. 48.

They were among six Cardinals ranked in 2016 (quarterback Carson Palmer was No. 12, cornerback Patrick Peterson was No. 18, defensive back Tyrann Mathieu was No. 28 and defensive end Calais Campbell was No. 71).

Other connections to Arizona on the list so far include former Scottsdale Chaparral High standout Taylor Lewan, former Avondale Agua Fria standout Everson Griffen and former Cardinals players Calais Campbell and Lorenzo Alexander.

Lewan, a tackle for the Titans, is ranked No. 72 on the list. Griffen, a defensive end for the Vikings, comes in at No. 92.

Campbell, who now plays with the Jaguars, is No. 83. Alexander is No. 91. He plays for the Bills.

The NFL Network started the series in 2011.

Previous No. 1 selections include Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (2011), Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (2012), Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (now with Saints, 2013), former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning (2014), Texans defensive end J.J. Watt (2015) and Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (2016).
