Just before 6:30 p.m. Monday, an unidentified 53-year-old man driving a 2001 Ford truck stopped at a stop sign on Nisbet Road before proceeding across seven lanes on Cave Creek Road, police said.

The victim, 21-year-old Uzuri Burkes, was riding a 2006 Suzuki GX6 motorcycle southbound on Cave Creek Road when the two vehicles collided, police said.
