Glendale police are investigating a body found hanging upside down from an iron fence, police said.
The man’s body was found at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning near 47th Avenue and Bethany Home Road where they believe he had been stuck for three hours before being found, Glendale police spokesman John Roth said.
The victim appeared to be climbing over the fence when he fell and the lower half of his body became stuck in the fence.
The cause of death is unknown, but detectives don’t suspect foul play is involved, Roth said.
Police say drugs may have been involved.
The incident is still under investigation.
