A man was rushed to a hospital after being shot by at least one Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputy Thursday afternoon in Avondale.
No deputies were harmed in the shooting near Dysart and McDowell roads at about noon.
Kim Jacobs said she was getting her hair cut nearby when she heard three gunshots. Not long after, she saw a man being carried away with a blanket around his leg.
