A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was reportedly shot early Wednesday as he was walking in the area of 29th Avenue and Thomas Road, according to Phoenix police officials.
Officers responded to the location shortly before 2 a.m. and found the man with a gunshot wound, according to a Phoenix police email. Reports to police indicate the man was shot by someone in a vehicle as he walked.
The man was taken to a hospital. Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
