Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man suspected of shooting his estranged wife multiple times Tuesday in west Phoenix.

Phoenix police believe 43-year-old Ramon Mendez, also known as Ramon Quirarte Mendez, entered the business of his estranged wife in the 2500 block of North 35th Avenue just before 6 p.m. Tuesday and shot her multiple times, said Sgt. Alan Pfohl.

The woman was seriously injured.

Mendez is 5 feet 11 inches, weighs 190 pounds, and drives a white 2003 Toyota Corolla with Arizona license plate BJM3575.

If you see Mendez, Pfohl said, you should not approach him but should call police instead.
