LeBron James dropped 38 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the Cavaliers’ 117-104 Game 1 blowout vs. the Celtics on Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, which is pretty good.

However, in his postgame interviews, James said he still believes the Cavs can play better. He’s apparently not satisfied with their performance, and he even said that he “didn’t feel that great.”

James said in his on-court NBA on TNT interview:

“It was definitely a feel out game. We kinda know what they wanna get to, they kinda know what we wanna get to. After 10 days off, I didn’t feel that great, but I know I’ll feel a lot better going into Game 2. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”

Then, in the postgame press conference, James said:

“I don’t even think we played that great tonight. We definitely didn’t shoot the ball as well as we’re capable of shooting. I know Kyle (Korver) had three or four very, very good looks that he missed when we had a good stretch, but I think the energy and the effort and the mindset was where it needed to be starting on the road, especially in the Eastern Conference finals.”

All you can really say to that is what’s on James’ sweatshirt: damn.
