Tempe police are looking for a gunman who wounded two people at an apartment complex early Saturday morning.

The shooting took place at about midnight at the complex’s parking lot near Southern and Mill avenues.

Authorities found a seriously injured man with a gunshot wound to his chest and a woman who was shot in the leg. Both victims were transported to the hospital. Tempe police said the woman’s injury was non-life threatening.

Officers were unable to find the gunman in a search of the surrounding area.The investigation is ongoing.
