An equipment truck once used by the band Grateful Dead is among the last vehicles that will cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block on Sunday, the seventh and final day of bidding.

The auction that attracts car enthusiasts from around the country to WestWorld of Scottsdale had a record 1,950 vehicles up for grabs this week.

Most of the vehicles are sold with no reserve, meaning there is no minimum price and the cars will sell to the highest bidder.

Grateful Dead equipment truck

This Grateful Dead equipment truck, named the Dred, was used in the 1960s by the band and could often be seen parked at the Dead’s studio in Novato, California, and at their party house in Olympia.

The Dred is powered by an eight-cylinder engine and a four-speed manual transmission.

The truck comes with a note from Owsley Stanley to Steve Cabella, a pop culture historian.

1937 Ford Custom Drag Car

This custom hot rod is powered by a Chevrolet 540ci V8 big-block engine that runs on methanol.

The car has power windows, Vintage Air, a 1,500-watt Alpine stereo and DVD system, a full complement of AutoMeter gauges with a clock, Baby Blue ostrich seats and interior accents with blue LED mood lighting.

2006 Chevrolet C1500 Custom Pickup

This pickup was one of four pace trucks used in the General Motors “Live Green Go Yellow” campaign during the 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and in promotions with Tony Stewart, the 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion.

The truck is powered by a V8 engine and a four-speed automatic transmission.

1923 Ford Delivery Custom Roadster 

This 1923 Ford C-cab custom delivery is powered by a Chevrolet 350ci small-block V8 engine mated to a 350 three-speed automatic transmission.

1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 

This 1980 Trans Am features a rebuilt 455ci V8 engine with custom exhaust and beefed-up internals, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.

The car is fitted with a custom stereo and wheels.

2017 Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo EPS Custom ATV

This street-legal Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo is powered by a 925cc two-cylinder engine and an automatic transmission.

The custom ATV has custom light whips and trunk storage, KC LED lights and rock crawler lights.

1970 Dodge Super Bee

This 1970 Dodge Super Bee is a restoration of an original factory Super Bee.

The car comes in factory purple with a four-speed manual transmission. Upgrades include a Magnum 440ci V8 engine with Edelbrock heads and carburetor and power front disc brakes with original-style wheels.

1940 Ford Custom Coupe

This coupe’s engine is a Nissan SEMA turbo-charged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It was built to current specifications, with dual overhead cams, four valves per cylinder and twin throttle bodies.

The custom coupe features one-touch power windows, air conditioning, stereo system and a modern console. The car still contains its original dash and overall original interior design.

1993 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Custom SUV

The Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf is powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder diesel engine mated to a five-speed HD manual transmission.

This G-Wagon was imported from Poland in 2019 and has been updated with new paint, a custom interior, lights and a new bikini top.

1997 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe

This Viper is wrapped in the current livery of and signed on the hood by DJ Steve Aoki; it also includes multiple photos of him with the car.

The car features a high-end custom Eclipse sound system with a custom subwoofer enclosure built into the trunk with amps, and a period correct in-dash MiniDisc player.

The Viper comes complete with books and new rear tires.
