The Coors Light Birds Nest concert series has added multi-platinum hip-hop star G-Eazy to its 2020 lineup, joining country superstars Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert.
G-Eazy headlines Thursday at the Waste Management Phoenix Open event presented by The Ak-Chin Indian Community.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting coorslightbirdsnest.com.
The Bay-area rapper has had a meteoric rise since the release of his platinum sophomore album, “When It’s Dark Out,” which featured five-time platinum single “Me, Myself, and I” with Bebe Rexha.
His third studio album, “The Beautiful & Damned,” debuted at No. 3 in 2017, the same year he was voted Favorite Hip-Hop Artist at the People’s Choice Awards, beating out a strong group of nominees that included DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West.
The remaining Coors Light Birds Nest lineup will be announced as more artists are confirmed.
A two-time Grammy winner and nine-time Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year, Lambert will kick off the series on Wed., Jan. 29, with an opening set by Cody Johnson.
Lambert is currently touring in support of her forthcoming “Wildcard.”
“Miranda Lambert is without a doubt our biggest Wednesday headliner to take the stage at the Birds Nest,” says Tim Woods, WM Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman. “She’s an amazingly accomplished performer and we’re pumped to have the Birds Nest be one of the stops on her upcoming Wildcard tour.”
Phoenix native Bentley takes the stage on Friday, Jan. 31 for a performance that’s already sold out. Bentley’s studio albums have accounted for 25 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, of which 16 have reached the top spot.
“A personal friend for over 30 years, his ties to the Valley, the tournament and the Thunderbirds run deep as an Arizona native whose father, Leon, was a Thunderbird,” Woods said. “Dierks will undoubtedly put on a tremendous show for the local fans as he always does.”
Coors Light Birds Nest general admission tickets will start at $75 with VIP tickets starting at $285 each. Those VIP tickets provide exclusive access to the Jameson VIP area where guests are treated to a complimentary catered dinner and drinks as well as access to a newly redesigned premium viewing area for the shows.
Ticket prices may increase as the event draws closer.
