Dozens of people suspected of entering the country illegally were arrested in a multiagency operation Wednesday morning at two locations in the Phoenix area.
Border Patrol took part in the immigration raid, and about 50 people were taken into custody, the agency said in an email.
One of the locations was in the area of 27th Avenue and Indian School Road.
A large group of people was seen sitting in an alley before being escorted onto a Valley Metro bus around 9:30 a.m., according to TV news reports.
