U.S. 60  in Mesa was open after a crash had closed part of it early Friday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The eastbound lanes were closed from Gilbert Road to Val Vista Drive after a two-vehicle rollover collision about 3 a.m, said Trooper Kameron Lee,  Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman.

Two people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, he said. 

Impairment was being investigated as a factor in the crash, Lee said.
