Cooler overnight temperatures Friday helped firefighters battle the Habanero Fire, which has burned about 3,400 acres southwest of Globe.
However, at the moment, the fire has zero containment with began about 15 miles southwest of G. It’s not known what caused the fire.
Afternoon winds and warm temperatures could increase fire activity again however, according to Inciweb, a government wildfire management website.
There are no evacuations at this time.
