Peoria Centennial senior Marzion Cosby, a receiver/defensive back, who moved from St. Louis this summer, announced on social media Saturday night that he has committed to Northern Arizona to play football.
Cosby had more than 10 college offers before coming to Arizona. It didn’t take long once he established himself in Peoria to pick up an offer from the Lumberjacks.
Cosby, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, helped Centennial win its last two games, including a 14-8 victory at Gilbert Williams Field, after dropping the season opener to Chandler Hamilton.
His speed and ball skills separate him from most on the field.
He came to Arizona, along with his cousin, Kenyatta Anderson, who also has bolstered the Coyotes’ football team with his speed and quickness at receiver and in the secondary.
