No. 19 ASU (11-4, 2-2 Pac-12) fell 72-65 Friday to No. 6 Stanford, trailing by 12 at halftime before getting within one in the third quarter and four late in the fourth. C Charnea Johnson-Chapman has averaged 12 points over the past three games. … Cal (10-4, 1-2) lost 60-55 at Arizona on Friday and has dropped four of its last five games including to No. 3 Connecticut. Senior F Kristine Anigwe of Phoenix is averaging 21.9 points and 14.4 rebounds and is the second WNBA first-round draft prospect that ASU will face in as many games. The Bears are a better perimeter shooting team around Anigwe, hitting 10 3-pointers vs. UConn. Anigwe had 19 points and 20 rebounds vs. UA, but the Bears were 5-of-22 from 3-point. … Kids can play in the snow before the game outside in the Arboretum during ASU’s annual Snow Day promotion.
