One of the Arizona State Sun Devils’ canceled games is back on the schedule with a makeup date but it means coach Bobby Hurley’s team will be playing five games in 11 days.

The contest against Utah (6-6, 3-5)  that was to have been played at Desert Financial Arena on Dec. 22  is now set for 2 p.m. on Feb. 2. That contest was delayed due to a COVID test on the part of Utah that turned out to be a false positive.

The originally scheduled game against between the teams at Utah’s Jon M. Huntsman Center on Saturday, Feb. 6 has been pushed back one day and will now be played at noon on Feb. 7 and will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.

The Sun Devils (4-7, 1-4)  had five games wiped from the schedule, three of those due to virus issues on the part of the opponent. Four of those are conference games with the others being road games at Washington Washington State and Oregon.

ASU’s next game will be on Monday at the McKale Center against rival Arizona. The Sun Devils are looking to snap a five-game losing streak, the last being an 84-82 buzzer loss to the Wildcats on Thursday.
