Arizona connections continue to show up in Major League Baseball.

The most notable so far this season has been the Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger, who was born in Scottsdale and played at Chandler Hamilton High.

Bellinger has taken baseball by storm this season, but he is not alone.

Several other players with ties to the state have recently made their MLB debuts.

Former Arizona Wildcats standout Alex Mejia is playing for the St. Louis Cardinals.
