Defensive end Michael Matus of Katy, Texas, is Arizona State’s seventh commitment in its 2018 recruiting class.
Matus, 6-2, 235, has a three-star rating from 247 Sports. He also had offers from service academies, Ivy League schools and a number of non-Power 5 conference schools.
Matus is ASU’s fifth defensive commitment and third from Texas including a junior college player.
