The Diamondbacks made one final trade in advance of Friday’s deadline, sending right-hander Joakim Soria to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for two players to be named later.

Soria, 37, posted a 4.30 ERA in 29 1/3 innings for the Diamondbacks after signing a one-year, $3.5 million deal in February.

The Blue Jays are taking on the remainder of Soria’s contract, saving the Diamondbacks around $1.27 million.

In all, the Diamondbacks traded four players this month: infielder Eduardo Escobar (Brewers), outfielder Tim Lcoastro (Yankees), catcher Stephen Vogt (Braves) and Soria. In all, the Diamondbacks saved roughly $5.5 million in those deals.
