The Arizona Coyotes host the Colorado Avalanche for the third game of their five-game homestand on Friday at Gila River Arena. The Coyotes will wear their throwback Kachina uniforms as part of their scheduled “Black Friday” festivities.

The Coyotes did not hold a morning skate on Friday, so it’s unclear if goaltender Darcy Kuemper will be making his ninth consecutive start or if Antti Raanta will return to game action after being activated from injured reserve on Friday.

Head coach Rick Tocchet is scheduled to meet with the media at 4 p.m.

Josh Archibald is eligible to rejoin the lineup on Friday after serving his two-game suspension for an illegal check to the head of an opponent a few games ago. It remains to be seen whether he suits up on Friday or serves as a healthy scratch in the game.
