A driver died after a rollover crash near Ajo Highway and San Joaquin Road near Tucson on Monday morning, the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed.
The crash was reported at approximately 11:02 a.m. after a vehicle reportedly rolled onto the right shoulder, DPS said in a statement.
The driver was removed from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, DPS said.
Damage to a nearby light pole left a few electrical lines exposed, and the roadway has since been reopened.
