William Hill has released its early odds for the NFL’s offensive and defensive rookie of the year awards and the Cardinals’ linebacker, who was picked with the No. 8 overall selection in the draft out of Clemson, is listed at 8/1.
Washington Redskins defensive end Chase Young, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the draft out of Ohio State, is the favorite at 7/2.

Buffalo Bills second-round pick A.J. Epenesa and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen are tied for third at 14/1 odds.
Queen was the No. 28 overall pick in the draft.
Jeff Okudah, the No. 3 overall pick in the draft out of Ohio State by the Detroit Lions, is tied for fifth at 20/1 with former Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray, who was the No. 23 overall selection by the Los Angeles Chargers.

Could Simmons win the award?
Much might depend on how the Arizona Cardinals utilize the versatile rookie defender during the 2020 NFL season.
Simmons just being in the conversation for the honor at the end of the year would likely bode very well for Arizona’s chances in 2020.
