A pilot was not injured after a small plane crashed at the Goodyear Airport during landing Sunday morning, officials said. 

The Goodyear Fire Department said that an experimental aircraft, a P51, crashed just short of the runway at the airport near Litchfield and Yuma Roads.

The pilot was the only person on the plane. No other details were immediately available.
