Wind may have been the cause of a brush fire that started in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon.
The Phoenix Fire Department believes that when the wind picked up in the afternoon hours, a brush fire began near West Rose Garden Lane and North 14th Avenue, according to a news release.
Fire crews got the blaze under control with the help of brush trucks, according to the Fire Department. As of 3:45 p.m., they were still working to put out multiple hot spots.
No injuries had been reported.
