The Phoenix Suns and free-agent forward Cheick Diallo have agreed to terms on a two-year contract, according to a report.

Last season, Diallo averaged six points with 5.2 rebounds per game coming primarily off the bench for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Diallo, 22, has spent the past three seasons with the Pelicans, where he has averaged 5.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game over 133 games. He averaged 12.6 minutes per contest.

The move by the Suns was first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Diallo was selected with the 33rd overall pick of the 2016 draft out of Kansas by the Los Angeles Clippers and traded to the Pelicans on draft night.

Diallo moved to the United States from Mali to play basketball and was the MVP of the 2015 McDonald’s All-American Game.
