Raul Romero, 61: Shot and killed outside of his car in the 900 block of East Montebello Avenue on Aug. 16, 2015.
Daughter Lora Romero described Raul Romero as a hard-working, loving and caring.
Romero, 61, had five children and four grandchildren.
“My dad would have done anything for us. He was always there when we needed him. He was there to help us through everything,” Romero said.
“He would have done anything for anybody,” she said.
LINKED BY TRAGEDY: Victims of Phoenix serial shootings
Lora Romero spoke during a Silent Witness plea for someone to come forward with information on Aug. 26, 2015. That was 10 days after her father was shot to death in an apartment-complex parking lot in the 900 block of East Montebello Avenue.
Aaron Juan Saucedo was arrested April 19 in connection with Romero’s death, but the family later learned from investigators that Saucedo was being linked to eight other deaths in the Phoenix “Serial Street Shooter” case.
