A wildfire burning on Mt. Lemmon has slowed down overnight, causing the fire to burn slowly Sunday afternoon as crews contained the fire at 10 acres, according to the U.S. Forest Service.

Five crews, two helicopters and eight engines were assigned to the fire, named the Shovel Fire. Windy conditions in the area had spurned concerned about the fire spreading Saturday night. Flames and smoke had been visible from Tucson, Catalin and Marana, according to social media posts.

However, a Facebook post by the Coronado National Forest on Sunday morning said fire activity, instead, has slowed down.

No other details were immediately available. The cause of the fire had not been reported.

Officials reminded the public that unmanned aircraft systems such as drones, should not enter the airspace around the fire as it would cause officials to ground their aircraft, hindering suppression efforts.
