“I’m still processing that,” Hanzal said. “We’ll see tonight how I feel. Of course, it’s a little different to be on the other side. But we’ll see how I feel tonight.”

It’s unclear if this game will be the last one of captain Shane Doan’s career as he’s undecided on his future.
“Obviously, there’s that possibility,” he said. “But there’s a possibility it isn’t. It’s just the last one of the season, but I mean I’m not blind to the fact of what it could be. But no way am I approaching it as it’s going to be. I look forward to playing it. It’s always fun to play in the NHL. It’s such an incredible opportunity and thankful for it.”
This game could also be defenseman Zbynek Michalek’s final game in the NHL as he’s waiting until the offseason to decide his future plans.
“I just want to enjoy it and have fun, and we’ll see what the future brings,” Michalek said.
