A man was shot and died following a vehicle collision and a fight with another man in Phoenix early Monday morning, according to authorities.
At about 3 a.m., Phoenix police officers responded to reports of a shooting near 16th and Roosevelt streets and found a man with a gunshot wound, according to police spokesperson Sgt. Mercedes Fortune.
Phoenix Fire Department took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Phoenix police identified the victim as Jose Antonio Orozco, 42, on Monday afternoon.
Upon investigation, authorities learned the victim was in an argument with the shooter after the two crashed their cars. The shooter remains outstanding, Fortune said, and this is an ongoing investigation.
